Lost On The Path

As you both talk, you agree to search for an escape route from the forest. However, your hunger trubles your stomachs. Luckily, you remeber you have a sandwich in the backpack you found. After eating, you both feel reenergized. Emily leans on you for support as you walk in the opposite direction of where you had been running. As the sun begins to rise, you hear the distant sound of wheels. After a few stops on the way, you come across a road. A vehicle is heading towards you. You step onto the road and signal for the driver's attention, with Emily at your side. [[The car slows down.]]

However, the last thing she recalls is hearing thunder and seeing a massive rock avalanche, which had caused you all to become separated. You reply, "I don't remember any of that." Before you get a chance to ask who she is, Josh blurts out, "Emily! Emily, right?", you realize you have no idea who this person is. She looks relieved to see Josh and responds, "Josh and N! I'm so glad you guys are alright! Thank you for finding me!" She looks at you, baffled, and responds, "Why are you looking at me so strange N?" You try to mask your unease, but the truth spills out.
